Servings

_____

One of the most important aspects of your cake is servings. For smaller occasions, plan on serving 90% of your guest list, and for larger events 80-90%. Doing this eliminates over ordering of cake. This is just an option, and you can of course plan on serving 100% of your guests.

Another important factor is how the cake is actually cut. My serving recommendations are not based a traditional "pie" slice, primarily because most people will not eat a serving that large. Instead, I opt to base servings off of the event style cut, which is into smaller rectangular portions. This helps maximize your servings even on smaller sized cakes.

The diagrams below can help you determine the best size for your needs, but I am happy to help you determine what may work best for you, and also how to maximize your servings within the design of your cake.

*Please note, for larger events, a 12" tier is the largest size offered. Unique shaped cakes are also available, servings size may not be exact due to the non- traditional style to create the look. I do not offer the option of sheet cakes.
